3D Printers - Available in West Chester

3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is the process of creating a three-dimensional object from a digital 3D model. This is done by adding layers of plastic material one by one until the object is complete. 3D printing can be used to create a wide variety of objects, ranging from simple toys and prototypes to complex tools.

Materials We Offer

  • PLA (Polylactic Acid): A bioplastic derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane, PLA is the most common type of 3D printing material. It’s ideal for everyday prints and display items.
  • PETG: A durable plastic offering increased strength and heat resistance, PETG is great for functional parts.
  • Resin (SLA): This photopolymer resin is cured using UV light to form solid objects. Resin is best for small models requiring high detail.

Please note: Patrons are not permitted to bring their own materials for use with this equipment.

Cost

We charge based on the total material used for each print (measured in grams or milliliters). Pricing is rounded up to the nearest whole unit. Before starting your 3D print, we will provide an estimate of the material required. Refer to our price list for current rates.

Project Planning

To print your object, you’ll need a 3D model file (STL, OBJ, 3MF, etc.).
