This summer, “Adventure Begins at Your Library” as MidPointe Library System kicks off its popular Summer Reading Program on Saturday, June 1. This two month adventure-themed celebration offers great books, fun prizes and exciting events for all ages, all for free.
Patrons are challenged to create their own adventure by completing activities from MidPointe’s “Adventure Begins at Your Library” Adventure Log, available for pick up at all Library locations or by download at www.MidPointeLibrary.org starting June 1. Participants keep track of their accomplishments at home, then come into the Library to reward their achievements and pick up their prizes! Logs are designed for all ages so families can enjoy activities together. Many encourage participants to explore different books or foster early literacy in little ones. Others support adventure around the house or in your community. The fun continues with raffle tickets for grand prizes once the Adventure Log is completed. The Program concludes on Wednesday, July 31st.
Throughout the summer, MidPointe’s programming calendar will be jam-packed with exciting events. From jugglers to magicians, live animals to princess visits, there is something for everyone. Find MidPointe’s event calendar at www.MidPointeLibrary.org or pick up a programming calendar with your adventure log.
Looking to get outside and enjoy the weather? MidPointe will host Storytime at the Park every Friday at 10:00 AM, rotating between parks in their service area, including Sunset Park in Middletown, Trenton Community Park, Fort Liberty Playland in Liberty Township, Keehner Park in West Chester and Monroe Community Park.
