After suspending in-library programming for nearly 18 months, MidPointe is thrilled to reintroduce storytimes, crafternoons and more within their branches. Starting Tuesday, September 7, in-person, in-Library programming will be available at MidPointe locations in Middletown, Liberty Township, Trenton and West Chester. MidPointe partnered with ENABLEUC (a non-profit incubator for 3D printed medical devices, established by University of Cincinnati biomedical engineering students) to build a prosthetic device in Innovation Pointe, using 3D printers available to patrons. Starting June 2, MidPointe’s makerspace, located inside the West Chester branch, will reopen for the time being as “Innovation Pointe Express,” offering staff production of patron projects.
