More Library patrons than ever before are enjoying ebooks and digital downloads from the MidPointe Library System. In order to eliminate duplication across the Library’s digital platforms and economically maximize funds, while continuing to provide the best available digital content, the Library will be expanding access on hoopla and discontinuing the cloudLibrary platform. cloudLibrary will be unavailable as of November 4.
Many holds currently placed with cloudLibrary will be transferred automatically to hoopla and will be available starting November 11. Please note the hoopla website (www.hoopladigital.com) or app will need to be used to access the items. A limited number of holds cannot be transferred due to restricted availability. We apologize for any inconvenience. The updated version of hoopla will now feature new releases of front list titles, as well as the titles previously found on cloudLibrary.
New holds can no longer be placed on cloudLibrary items but if an item currently on hold with cloudLibrary does become available before November 2, it will be reserved for 2 days so patrons are encouraged to access items quickly. Material checked out through cloudLibrary can be accessed until November 4.
