The vinyl printer is a large-format inkjet printer capable of producing banners, posters, and stickers up to 52” wide.
How to Get Started
- Training: Book an appointment for an in-person training session with a Makerspace Technician.
- On-Demand Printing: Submit your file through our Innovation Pointe Express form, and our Makerspace Technicians will print your design on demand.

Materials We Offer
- Lightweight Banner Vinyl: 13 oz. banner material with a matte finish, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
- Removable Sticker: 6-mil vinyl with a matte finish and removable adhesive, ideal for interior graphics. Stickers can be cut to custom shapes.
- Poster Paper: 8-mil, 200 gsm heavyweight paper with a glossy finish, perfect for posters, artwork, and photography.
Patrons are not permitted to bring their own materials for use with this equipment.
Cost
We charge for vinyl printing based on the roll size and the total material used (measured in feet). Please refer to our price list for current rates.
Measurements for pricing are rounded up to the nearest ½ ft. Material estimates will be provided before printing begins.
Project Planning
Vinyl printing requires a PDF file designed to the exact size you want to print (e.g., if you want your poster to be 24″ x 48″, design your file at that size).
Please bring your file on a flash drive or access it via email/cloud storage.
