9:00 AM – Virtual Storytime with Miss Mary
4:30 PM – LIVE Cookbook Challenge – We will be making a budget friendly recipe from a cookbook in our eLibrary. Share your recipe ideas in the chat!
6:00 PM – Banana Mousse Tutorial* – Supply list: 4 ripe bananas, optional ideas for ingredients to pulse, stir in, or sprinkle on top include cinnamon, chocolate chips, coconut flakes

Tuesday, April 28

11:00 AM – LIVE Preschool Storytime
1:00 PM – LIVE Homemade Ice Cream Experiment – Supply list: 1 tablespoon sugar, ½ cup milk, cream, or half and half, ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (or other flavoring), 6 tablespoons salt, enough ice to fill the gallon-sized bag halfway, 1 gallon-sized Ziploc bag, 1 pint-sized Ziploc bag, optional – any syrup ( strawberry, chocolate, butterscotch)
6:30 PM – LIVE Bedtime Storytime

7:30 PM – LIVE Storytime for Grown-Ups – Library staff will read a poem, share a piece of music and then read a short story or essay out loud. You are encouraged to discuss the works in the chat!

Thursday, April 30
10:30 AM – LIVE Toddler Storytime
1:00 PM – LIVE Pierce the Bag Experiment – Supply List: Ziploc/storage bags, sharp pencils/skewers, water, water tray (just in case). Please note, this experiment is best for older kids or little ones with adult supervision.

10:00 AM – Outdoor Scavenger Hunt Program
2:00 PM – Interactive Breakout Program
6:30 PM – Harry Potter Kahoot! Trivia – We will be posting a code to play LIVE trivia on the Kahoot! app. Download the app early so you will be ready to play! This week’s trivia will focus on “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”

Saturday, May 2
10:00 AM – Book Club for Kids
2:00 PM – LIVE Q-Tip Painting Art Break – Supply list: Q-tips, copy paper, acrylic paint (make sure you at least have white, red, yellow, and blue), paper plate or plastic palette for paint, paint brush, cup of water, paper towels
3:00 PM – LIVE Pre-School Parents – We will focus on a different topic each week that deals with a learning objective or developmental activity for your pre-schooler. We will also share helpful/humorous books about parenting and give you a chance to chat with other parents in the chat!
